This is a new import from China.  It has beautiful yellow canes with occasional green striping and some occasional variegation in the leaves.  It has a vertical growth form with low branching.  It makes a stunning ornamental.  This bamboo tends to branch from the ground up, so it requires more maintenance to cut off the lower branches to show off the beautiful canes.  (see other ornamental bamboo plants)
